The first workshop opened a shared space of trust and gentle arrival. The room was prepared with Persian cultural elements, traditional teas and textures that evoked familiarity, grounding and dignity. Through simple movement practices, the women met one another beyond words, establishing a first human contact rooted in safety and curiosity. The purpose and structure of the six-workshop cycle were introduced: a process combining storytelling, art-therapeutic tools, and the creation of both individual artworks and a collective project. Each participant began crafting a personal journal—handmade from various papers, textures and collage materials—to hold memories, written reflections and visual impressions. Already in this opening session, the women began sharing fragments of their personal stories, marking the beginning of a deep and creative process of remembering, witnessing and shaping meaning together.
